CCB: hey, celia, quick question.
celia: sure.
CCB: so ... french manicures are pretty standard for a bride, yes?
celia: yes - but not tacky fake ones.
CCB: right ... and, like, professionally done.
celia: yes.
CCB: OK. But I've also seen bolder brides go fire-engine red full nails.
celia: hot.
CCB: does that make it okay to have a fire-engine red French manicure?
celia: no. never. in life.
CCB: that's what I thought.
celia: my eyes. They burn with sorrow.
CCB: true story, son.

ReplyDelete2. is it me, or do her rings appear to be made of gold aluminum foil?
3. it's almost like this look is its own self-perpetuating metaphor: it appears that there is blood caught under her nails...which got caught there when she gouged our eyes out...which she did, not literally, but figuratively, by wearing a red french manicure. ok, i did not articulate that in a logical or comprehensible way, but in my head it's genius.
in your head and in WB archive history.
